27th BLACKMORE VALE LIONS HALF MARATHON

A half marathon over quiet undulating country roads in a beautiful area of North Dorset, run by the Blackmore Vale Lions Club.
 
The start / finish make this event unsuitable for wheelchairs. 
Toilets at start / finish, several water stations, first aid facilities, refreshments available before / after event.  
No changing facilities. Limited parking, use designated parking areas.

Online entrants will be notified of race number by email. All numbers collected on the day from reception in the village hall by 10.30 am.

No earphones of any description allowed. Entries are accepted on the under-standing that in the unlikely case of the event being cancelled (we are raising money for charity) no refunds will be made. No entry on the day.

NEW BLACKMORE VALE LIONS HALF MARATHON - RELAY

Relay of two runners, run concurrently as the half marathon, on quiet undulating country roads in a beautiful area of North Dorset and is run by the Blackmore Vale Lions Club.

The start /finish make this event unsuitable for wheelchair users.  Toilets at start / finish, several water stations, first aid facilities, refreshments available before / after event.  No changing facilities.  Limited parking - use designated relay only parking areas.

Team members to be notified on the day.

THIS IS FOR A TEAM ENTRY AND NOT AN INDIVIDUAL RUNNER. DETAILS SHOULD BE THAT OF THE TEAM CAPTAIN.

NON AFFILIATED TEAM = BOTH RUNNERS UNAFFILIATED.
AFFILIATED TEAM = AT LEAST ONE AFFILIATED RUNNER.

No earphones of any description allowed.  Entries are accepted on the understanding that in the unlikely case of the event being cancelled (we are raising money for charity) no refunds will be made.
Minimum age of each team member is 16 years on 3rd February 2019.  



This is a new event for us.  A team of 2 runners will complete our half marathon route with a changeover approximately halfway round.
